Scott Logan - Scott Logan was born August 14th, 1978 (all birthday presents welcome). Scott grew up in Portland, Maine where he had an interest in music all of his life. Scott has been performing since the age of 15 when he and Scott Anderson first started playing music together. Scott has been playing guitar 1991 and since then has picked up an interest in drums and piano. Scott has spent many years in several church worship teams and as a worship leader as well. In 2005, he married his wife Shanon, with the band as his groomsmen. Quite frequently Shanon will tour with the band and work the merchandise table. Scott is the predominant songwriter alongside long time friend and partner Scott Anderson and sings the majority of the lead vocals as well as plays all of the guitars.

John Ferreira - I was built in 1975 on May 13th, and I grew up in Portland Maine. I have had a love for music for as long as I can remember. Growing up there was an array of different genres that have influenced me along the way. When ever I would go to rock shows the drums always caught my attention. My dad is a drummer so I guess a lot of my attraction was natural. By the time I had reached my 20's I was too busy trying to please people and making a wreck of my life. It was not until I invited Jesus into my heart, that I realized how much sin had obliterated my life, and a new direction is what Christ gave me. In the fall of 2001 I was asked to join the Keith Parry group, as a percussionist, and that's when I was introduced to my loving wife Erin. We married in the fall of 2002 and have spent time serving the Lord in youth ministry and music ministry together. I had been a fan of New Mercy Morning and a friend of Scott Logan's for a few years, when my phone rang on a Sunday afternoon in the fall of 07. It was Scott and he wanted to know if I would consider auditioning for the group. Well.............................here I am, and well pleased with the way things are going. I am grateful for this opportunity God has given me. Thank you all for your prayers and loving support, and I look forward to seeing you out on the road!

Scott Anderson - Scott Anderson is currently the oldest member in New Mercy Morning. Scott was born in Illinois, grew up on the Missouri, Arkansas border in an area called the Ozark hills, where he developed a love for acoustic instruments. After some family trauma, Scott sought a relationship with Christ to help him through some trying times, joined the Navy to run away from home, and ended up in Maine where he currently lives with his wife Barbie. In New Mercy Morning, Scott writes songs and lyrics, tries to play bass, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, dulcimer…and sings, preaches and hauls equipment. As a songwriter, Scott is influenced more by Christian authors and thinkers than other musicians… writers such as Andrew Murray, Charles Spurgeon, and Benjamin Warfield, with the theme usually being about God’s grace. Scott attends Still Waters Christian Fellowship, and when able gets involved with prison ministry.

Jason Clark - Jason was born in Bridgton, Maine on December 10, 1978. He met Christ at an alter call in January 1992 at Windham Assembly of God. He followed his calling in music as a part of the church’s choir and worship team, as well as children’s church ministry. Jason left public schools attending Windham Christian Academy starting the fall of 1993, where he became fast friends with classmate Chris Cyr…one could see where this was heading. Scott Logan and Jason became acquainted through Chris; all three became the brothers they are through their respective high school/post high school experiences, shared faith, fellowship, and passion for music. Being on the rim of what was Three Days Down, then his involvement with New Mercy Morning on “More Than Conquerors,” Jason became a natural fit with the music of Scott Logan and Scott Anderson.
